When and why will banks remain closed in September-

On 1st September, Sunday (weekly holiday). On 4th September, there will be a holiday in Guwahati due to Tirubhav Tithi of Srimanta Shankardeva. On 7th September, there will be a holiday in the main states and districts of the country on Ganesh Chaturthi.

On 8th September, there will be a holiday on Sunday (weekly holiday).  On 14th September, the second Saturday, there will be a holiday everywhere.  On 15th September, there will be a holiday everywhere on Sunday (weekly holiday).

On 16th September, there will be a holiday in Barawafat Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Aizwal, Chennai, Dehradun, Hyderabad, Imphal, Jammu Kanpur, Lucknow, Mumbai, Nagpur, New Delhi, Ranchi, Nagar, Thiruvananthapuram etc.
