RSS NEWS: RSS is the biggest organization in the world today.
The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh was founded by Keshav Balaram Hedgewar on 27 September 1925 in Nagpur on the day of Vijayadashami.
RSS was founded with the aim of making India a Hindu nation.
Sangh has been banned thrice.
For the first time in 1948, when former RSS member Nathuram Godse assassinated Mahatma Gandhi, the RSS was banned.
Second time during the time of emergency (1975-1977).
Third time after the demolition of Babri Masjid in 1992.
Despite being banned three times, the Sangh has become stronger every time.
At present, the Sarsanghchalak of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh is Dr. Mohanrao Madhukarrao Bhagwat.
The Sangh has gradually established itself as a disciplined and nationalist organization.
The Bharatiya Janata Party has a deep connection with the Sangh, but the Sangh does not forcefully say this.
Many top leaders of BJP have been members of RSS.
The current Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has also been a pracharak of the RSS.
