Salary To Contract Employees Equal To Regular Employees, Many Facilities Also Like Regular Employees But Regularization Will Not Be Done

SHIVRAJ MADE A BIG ANNOUNCEMENT REGARDING CONTRACT WORKERS-

MP SAMVIDAKARMI NEWS: About one and a half lakh contract employees of Madhya Pradesh have been freed from the annual contract culture. Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said on Tuesday – I am taking a decision that the contract process of contractual employees should be terminated every year. He made this announcement at the provincial conference of contract employees at Motilal Nehru Stadium in Bhopal.

CM Shivraj made these important announcements-

The process of renewal of the services of contract employees will end every year.
Contract employees will get salary equal to regular employees.
The benefit of the National Pension Scheme will be given.
Benefit of health insurance scheme will be given.
Contract employees will also get the benefit of compassionate appointment.
There will be a system of gratuity for contract employees on retirement.
There will be reservation of 50% posts for contractual employees in recruitment to regular posts.
Maternity leave will also be provided along with leave like regular employees.
Holidays CL, EL, optional leave to contract employees will also be done like regular employees.
The amount of deducted salary of contract employees will be refunded.

CM said- There was a little fight in the middle-

“The Chief Minister smiled and said to the contract employees, there was a little fight between them. Salary was deducted. Asked – whose salary has been cut, raise your hand. Announcing said – the salary deducted during the agitations and strike will be returned. As much as I have respect, you will also have that much respect.”

The dream of regularization is still incomplete.-

These are very important announcements in view of MP Election 2023 because for a long time there was a lot of resentment among the contractual employees of the state towards the government. But now with these announcements, CM Shivraj has satisfied them to a great extent. However, his dream of becoming a regular is still unfulfilled. The contract workers have definitely benefited from the announcements made by CM Shivraj, there are such facilities which used to be available only to the regular employees, now the benefit of those facilities will also be given to the contract workers. It would have been better if they were regularised.
